The Savannah School of Massage Therapy (SSOMT) was founded in 1999, and offers a 600 clock hour program in Massage Therapy. Upon successful
completion of the program, the student will receive a Certificate of
Completion in Massage Therapy. After graduation, students are eligible to
sit for the National Certification Test administered by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork(NCBTMB).
  Our program is designed to provide the student with the tools necessary to become a professional Massage Therapist. First, basic massage techniques are taught and expanded upon. The techniques of neuromuscular therapy and the basics of energy work are presented. The various techniques are taught in isolation for the student to develop mastery of the core curriculum.
