- In house payment plan
- Pell Grant

Is your school accredited?
Yes. Our school is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET). Additionally, we are state approved by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission and the Georgia Board of Massage Therapy. Since we are a state approved school, students who complete the massage therapy training program at SSOMTT can sit for the national certification test administered by the National Certification Board on Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx) administered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards.
How soon can I complete your program?
We have a 6 month day program and a 12 month evening program. Both programs start in September and April.
What subjects are taught at your school?
We instruct students in Anatomy and Physiology, Business Practices, Allied Modalities, Deep Tissue Massage, HIV/AIDS Education, Hydrotherapy, Kinesiology, Neuromuscular Therapy, Pathology, Energy Methods, S.O.A.P. Noting and Charting, Instructor Supervised Massage, Swedish Massage, and Eastern Methods. Please see our course catalog and course schedule for more information.
If I've taken anatomy & physiology, kinesiology, or pathology, do I need to take them again at your school?
If you've taken anatomy & physiology, kinesiology, and/or pathology from a state approved school within the last 5 years, earned a grade of "B" or better and met our class hour requirement, then you MUST meet with the educational director to verify if class hours can be transferred. Students may take advanced placement (AP) tests at the discretion of the Educational Director if the student can demonstrate knowledge or has taken applicable classes outside the 5 year time frame. Transferring credits will result in a decrease in the time and tuition necessary to complete the program.
Do you offer night classes?
Yes. Day and evening sessions begin every September and April.
Do you offer weekend classes?
The weekend classes we offer are 1-2 day workshop classes that ONLY fulfill continuing education requirements. To complete the 600 hour program you must take classes during the weekdays.
Do you offer student housing?
No, but many apartment complexes are located near the campus. Check out the following websites:
www.rent.com
or www.apartments.com
or www.homestore.com
How do I get a massage from a student?
Call the school for a reservation. We can book appointments up to two weeks in advance. We have intermediate and advanced students in addition to graduates for massage sessions. The cost ranges from $30 - $50 for a one hour session depending on the level of the student. Massage styles vary from student to student since they each practice the techniques they are currently learning. You may request a specific level or gender; however, we cannot guarantee any specific student. See the latest massage clinic brochure for the dates and times the clinic is open to the public.
