"I have benefited greatly from massage therapy techniques taught by Chris Masters at SSOMT. As I prepare for the Olympic trials, Chris has been very kind in dedicating his time and talents to helping me succeed. I have had massage therapists in the past, and they were either too intense, where the experience left me in pain, or too soft, where the tissues were not worked enough. Chris has the talent and ability to know the difference.

I can have a massage two days before a race or hard workout and not worry about feeling tired or drained. It is a very uplifting experience. Also, my gait has opened up because he has really increased the flexibility of my hamstrings and low back.

I normally would have to take smaller steps because of the tightness in my low back and muscle spasms in my hip. Sometimes the spasms in my pelvis were so great that I would need a spinal adjustment from a Chiropractor. Since I have been working with Chris, I haven’t needed an adjustment, because my range of motion and flexibility have increased, reducing my spasms to a minimum.
